With Storkie's convenient Envelope Calligraphy Address Import Wizard, you can easily import your contacts from a file stored on your computer or one of the many email services that are supported.

Below you will find a detailed description of the necessary steps to import your guests into the main Envelope Calligraphy grid webpage.


Prepare and Upload an Excel or Comma Separated Values (.CSV) Import File using Storkie's Blank template.

Step 1: Click on the "Download import template" link and then Save the file to a folder of your choice on your computer (for example: you may choose to save the file to your desktop, for easy retrieval).

Step 2: Open the template file and enter in your guests' names and addresses. Note: you must leave the column headers in row 1, so please begin entering your information in row 2).

Step 3: When you are finished adding in your guests' names and addresses, save and close the Excel/CSV file.

Step 4: Return to the Web Browser and click on the green "Select File" button and then find your saved Excel/CSV file, left click on it to select it and then click "Open".

It may take a moment for our system to load your guest list, but once complete, the names and addresses will appear in a list in the column below.

Step 5: Next, select the checkboxes for the addresses that you would like to add to your Current Guest List.

You can select them individually or click the white "check all" link to easily select all of the guests at once.

Step 6: Once all of the guests have been selected, click on the green "Move Addresses to Current Guest List >" button and you will see the addresses appear in the "Current Guest List" Column on the right.

Step 7: After you have verified that all of the guests are properly shown in your "Current Guest List", scroll to the bottom and click on the green button that says "Done: Add Addresses".

Step 8: You can then review your addresses prior to being sent back to the Envelope Calligraphy grid page where you can further revise them or continue to the next step in the Checkout process.

Current Guest List Notes:

Note 1: You may only add a number of addresses that equals the number of Envelopes in your current order. (For example: If you are ordering 100 invitations and you try to move over 105 guests, you will receive a warning that your number of guests exceeds the maximum.)

Note 2: If any of the guests' names/addresses in the "Current Guest List" column on the right side are red, this means that there are duplicate entries.

Note 3: You can delete guests individually, by clicking on the Red X symbol that appears to the left of each guest name/address.

Note 4: You can preview the full Guest Name/Address by hovering your mouse over each line in the "Current Guest List" column.

Note 5: It is not necessary to import in ALL of your guest names/addresses. You can import in a portion of the total guest names/addresses and either add in the remaining addresses at a later date/time or choose to leave some of the envelopes blank on the front.


Import Guest(s) from Envelope Calligraphy Lists in previous Storkie Orders or your Shopping Cart.

If you have ordered with Storkie in the past or if you have a completed Envelope Calligraphy List in your shopping cart (and you have provided guest names and addresses for Envelope Calligraphy), you can easily carry over one or more of the guest names to your current order/item.

Below you will find a detailed description of the necessary steps to import your previous guests into the main Envelope Calligraphy grid webpage.

Step 1: Click on the tab titled "Existing Storkie List(s)".

Step 2: There are 3 possible scenarios depending on your Order History:

a) If you have ordered Envelope Calligraphy in the past or you have a Calligraphy List in your shopping cart and you are logged in (you can tell that you are logged in by the existence of previous Guest Lists in the dropdown list), select the correct Guest List to import.

Note: You can choose a single Guest List or you can choose "All lists" to view all of your guests from the various lists that you used in the past.

b) If you have ordered Envelope Calligraphy in the past, but you are not logged in (you can tell by the presence of the green "Login" button), please click the "Login" button, and then enter your email address and password for your Storkie.com account.

Once logged in, you will be returned to the Import screen to choose a single Guest List or "All lists" to view all of your guests from the various lists that you used in the past.

c) If you have never ordered with Storkie in the past, but you have an Envelope Calligraphy list in your shopping cart that you would like to use for another Envelope Calligraphy item, click the "Login" button, and then click the "New Users Sign Up Here" registration button to create a Storkie.com account (this is required).

Once registered and logged in, you will be returned to the Import screen to choose a your Guest List from your shopping cart.

Step 3: Next, select the checkboxes for the addresses that you would like to add to your Current Guest List.

You can select them individually or click the white "check all" link to easily select all of the guests at once.

Step 4: Once all of the guests have been selected, click on the green "Move Addresses to Current Guest List >" button and you will see the addresses appear in the "Current Guest List" Column on the right.

Upload an Excel or Comma Separated Values (.CSV) Import File from your contacts found in Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or Microsoft Outlook.

Storkie also makes it convenient to import your guest names/addresses from popular email services such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or Microsoft Outlook.

To bring in your contact information, you will need to Export your information from within your Gmail/Hotmail/Yahoo/Outlook. Each email service has a slightly different set of steps to export your data.

Below you will find our recommended steps:

Step 1: Click on the the tab with the name of the Email Service from which you would like to export contacts.

Step 2: Follow the instructions that we provide for exporting your contacts to a CSV file (Gmail/Hotmail users, we recommend clicking on the green "click here" link for further details/instructions).

Step 3: Once you have exported your contacts, we recommend that you open the CSV file to review the Contact information and then Save the file to a folder of your choice on your computer (for example: you may choose to save the file to your desktop, for easy retrieval).

Note 1: The CSV that you export from Gmail/Hotmail/Yahoo/Outlook will contain many more fields than are needed for your Envelope Calligraphy information. This is ok - our import wizard will ignore the fields that are not related/necessary.

Note 2: In the CSV, you may want to review/optionally edit the contact information that relates to name/address/city/state/zip code (if mailing internationally, you will also want to provide the country) and then save the import file.

Note 3: In many cases, the contact information that is stored in your Gmail/Hotmail/Yahoo/Outlook email services is inaccurate or incomplete. This is ok - you will be able to revise/update the guest information on the main Envelope Calligraphy grid web page after you have imported in your guest information.

Note 4: You must leave the column headers in row 1, so please begin entering your information in row 2.

Step 4: When finished saving your CSV import file, return to the Web Browser and click on the green "Select File" button and then find your saved Excel/CSV file, left click on it to select it and then click "Open".

Note: It is very important that click the green "Select File" button on the correct source Email Service tab (for example: if you exported your contact information from Gmail, and you try to import your CSV/Excel file on the tab labeled "Yahoo", you will receive a warning and will not be able to proceed).

It may take a moment for our system to load your guest list, but once complete, the names and addresses will appear in a list in the column below.
