Hi Rachel,

This is a great and noble way to show our love and appreciation to our "2nd mothers."

I am so blessed to have a great Mom-in-law who loves me just like her own daughter. She is very caring and sweet and always there to lend a hand. Sometimes, I don't even have to say the word and she knows exactly what to do.

Btw, I got this site's information from Quinn Harrington. I am so pleased to know that not all mother-in-laws are stereotyped as monsters. I am glad this site spearheads the move to give the mothers-in-law out there the proper recognition they deserve. Great job!

My mother-in-law is one of the sweetest people I know. She sometimes pushes but is always asking if she's gone too far. During our wedding planning, she was very low key and gave input but was not at all overbearing. Her nickname is Momma Jo because her name is Jo Ann and it just sort of stuck. She even signs cards that way. We get along great and I only wish other people had as great of a MIL as I do! I am truly blessed!
