I love Photo Booths, and I really think an awesome backdrop can take your photo booth and the photos to the next level.
Crafting your own photo booth is a fun and approachable DIY project. You can coordinate with the theme of your wedding, create a separate theme just for the photo booth, create one that reflects who you two are as a couple, or just craft up whatever fun and cute stuff you want.
Another perk is that the backdrops can be as affordable as you would like! Amongst all the wedding expenses you may already feel overwhelmed with, a photo booth backdrop does not to be one of them. The backdrop pictured above is just streamers on a white backdrop! A white sheet could even be used with streamers hanging in front of the sheet. How easy and affordable is that?!
Props are a key part of a photo booth. They help break the “camera ice” even for your camera shy Aunt Sue. Building your own prop collection does not need to take much time or money either. Gather things up from around your house, search around a local vintage shop, stop at a party store, or cut out some fun printables you found around the web.
I can’t wait to start on the backdrop for my wedding in July! What about you? Will you have one, or did you have a DIY backdrop for your photo booth at your wedding?
Hope everyone is enjoying 2012!
