With email and reasonably priced phone calls, few people write letters today. But, after reading this moving story about an American GI who returns a letter he found on Iwo Jima as he and his buddy set-up communication lines, maybe we should begin to make more of an effort to write letters and send cards!

  1. A phone call lasts for a second, but a letter or a card can be reread over and over and lasts forever giving continued comfort.
