Pie is a very beautiful thing, in my opinion. Fruit pies, chocolate pies, cream pies, mini pies, hand pies, sweet pies, savory pies, and I’m sure you get the point. The point being, I love pie. I also love getting together with my friends and family, having a great time with great food and people. My love for the two has left me pining for a pie baking party this holiday season. To spend a few hours with dear friends the day before Thanksgiving, listening to music, sharing laughs, and baking and prepping pies for the holiday dinner. Sounds like an amazing way to celebrate the holiday with friends and family that have their own dinner plans on Thanksgiving day.
If you are now dreaming of throwing together a pie baking party of your own, I say go for it! You will not regret spending the time together. Plus, it would be so very easy to arrange. Sent out some adorable invites, gather up the ingredients for pie crusts, ask everyone to bring a recipe of their choice and the ingredients for their pie fillings, set out some drinks, and turn on your favorite Pandora station. Voilà! Let the celebrations begin.
Happy Friday everyone! Enjoy this beautiful autumn weekend.
