Where has October gone? I cannot believe there is less than a week left. November is coming up, which means the perfect time to plan and take care of your family holiday card photos coming up too! Starting the cards and photos soon gives you just enough time to get your photographs back from your photographer and get them sent out with your gorgeous holiday card – without feeling rushed.

As I’m sure you all know, the line between being festive and cheesy in your holiday photos is a very, very fine line. But you don’t have to remove all holiday details to avoid crossing the line. These holiday photos have just the right amount of festive and fun details. I can’t wait to start brainstorming some more ideas of my own, and to send our Christmas cards and photos for the first time with my fiancé! The holidays are full of so much fun. I adore this time of year.

  1. Sometimes cheesy is cute! But your ideas are much cuter than most I’ve seen. When living in southern Arizona, we drove to a place that had zillions (ok a whole lot) of Giant Saguaro cacti. We walked around until we found the perfect one, put down several layers of towels, and put our small children up to sit on one of the huge arms of the cactus that was at a swooping angle, with parents in the back and took the photo. A conversation card for many years.
