There are so many things a new graduate will need, whether they’re going off to college or into the real world from the college dorm. Depending on your price range and how many things your graduate actually “needs” will determine what kind of gift you’ll be looking for.
One of the best gifts I received when graduating high school was a survival package hand-made by my mom. She put everything in a new laundry hamper and surprised me with the package when I started moving in. Items she included were things such as: laundry detergent, towels, shampoo, soap, first aid kit, mini tool set, sheet set, collapsible laundry hamper and some healthy non perishable foods and snacks such as vegetable soups, pastas and sauce, nuts, granola bars and dried fruits. This was such an awesome present because it hadn’t even occurred to me that I was going to need to buy my own hamper and soaps.
